Hello everyone! You will probably have seen a couple of my “Humoresque” blog posts by now. They are intended to be both Humorous and Helpful! I hope they’re hitting the spot.
However, I don’t have email addresses for all my pupils, in particular those under the age of eighteen. If your child is one of my pupils, and he or she is between the ages of twelve and eighteen, would you be happy for me to send “Humoresque” directly to them? If so, please email me with your child’s own email address and I will add it to the list. I will only use your child’s email for Humoresque posts; in all other contexts I will communicate through you, the parents.
For pupils under the age of twelve, I hope you as parents will find “Humoresque” useful when you help and supervise your child’s practice. Which I know you’re all doing!
Also, if there are other people you know who would benefit from reading “Humoresque”, please ask them if they’d like me to add them. They may be learning with other teachers, or learning from online tutorials, or just having fun with music on their own. I’m very happy to add anyone who’s interested to the list of “Humoresque” recipients.
Finally, please email me with any topics you’d like me to include in “Humoresque” posts. So far, I’ve written about things which occur to me as I teach, and where I think everyone may benefit. But I’d love to have your suggestions! Please send them in.
