I’ve come across this music advent calendar, suitable for beginner and learner pianists, keyboardists and guitarists. It looks so much fun! You have a different festive song to play for each of the first 25 days in December, and of course that means it’s cumulative! Imagine! By Christmas Day you’ll be able to perform 25 songs!
The songs are duplicated at two levels, so you can choose which level you prefer, and they even have all the letter names and fingering written in. There are guitar chord diagrams, and if you’re a guitarist you’ll find these useful for any unfamiliar chords. For keyboard players, ignore the chord diagrams and just go by the chord symbols themselves.
Yes, yes, I know I don’t allow you to write letter names on your music! But it’s Christmas! You’re allowed to cheat at Christmas, and you’ve got to learn the song in just one day! So hang the rules and have fun!
