Trinity have changed their submission procedure for their music grade exams. This doesn’t affect candidates (you!) except in one way: I now need to upload a photo of you holding your exam book, as well as recording your video. If you are recording your own video at home, please also get someone to take a photo of you facing the camera and holding your exam book in front of you, with the front cover also facing the camera.
I believe this new requirement is to reduce incidents of fraud, so it’s to be welcomed. Other than the photo, the changes only affect how I complete the submission of your exam, so nothing for you to worry about!
So – if I am making the video of your exam, I will also take the photo. If you’re doing it all at home, please make sure you send me a photo as well as the video.
Obviously there’s a privacy/data protection issue here, so I refer you to my own privacy statement, and to Trinity’s as well. If you have any concerns or questions, please get in touch.
